提起《逃家小兔》只怕是没有妈妈不熟悉，这本出版于1942年的图画书，它的作者是美国图画书界的先驱性人物玛格莉特和克莱门特，而这本书也成为了童书中的经典与古典。
兔妈妈和小兔一段天马行空，机智幽默的对话简单但温情脉脉，无论孩子走到哪里，变成怎样，妈妈的心都会永远追随，都在用自己的爱包围着孩子。而黑白与彩色交替的绘画，加大了视觉对比，我认为彩色突出了母亲寻找孩子的温暖和安全，黑白则强调了孩子们奇幻的世界。让我们向不朽致敬吧！
但是感谢@明天远航，让我在耳熟能详的故事中看到了中国妈妈的爱。仔细看看经典的版本，无论是人物的装扮还是家居环境，田野，郊外，都带有浓郁的欧美古典色彩，我们拿在手里的是一个别人的故事，它美好，感人，但是有距离感。来对比下我收到的《离家小兔》，会看到一个生活在我们周围的萌小兔和小眼睛胖乎乎爱唠叨的中国可爱妈妈。
这个版本是中英文对照的，对于早就熟悉了这个故事的儿子还是很有吸引力，同时又为学习英语提供了一本好材料，自己可以慢慢去体会语言的差异。
这个版本的兔妈妈和兔宝宝，是不是更卡通更符合我们东方的审美，大眼睛，娇憨，红色系列的用品无处不在体现孩子的童真，而兔妈妈那系着围裙的装扮不就像一位居家的好妈妈。
据说，世界上几乎所有语言中妈妈的发音都几乎是一样的。同样，无论时光如何荏苒，只要是母亲，对孩子的牵挂，关怀都是没有差异的，祝福40年代的美国小兔妞和中国00代萌小兔都在妈妈的怀抱中尽情幻想。
就让经典常驻心中，陪伴每个孩子，不同的孩子会在其中体味出自己的味道。

said his mother, “I willbecome the wind and blow you where I want you to go.”
“If you become the wind andblow me,” said the little bunny,
“I will join a circus andfly away on a flying trapeze.”
“If you go flying on aflying trapeze,” said his mother,
“I will be a tightropewalker, and I will walk across the air to you.”
“If you become a tightropewalker and walk across the air,”
said the bunny, “I willbecome a little boy and run into a house.”
“If you become a little boyand run into a house,”
said the mother bunny, “Iwill become your mother and catch you in my arms and hug you.”
“Shucks,” said the bunny,“I might just as well stay where I am and be your little bunny.”
And so he did. “Havea carrot,” said the mother bunny.
